Kræmmerhus Porcelain Ornaments

A porcelain interpretation of the traditional Danish Christmas cone.

The Kræmmerhus by Ditte Fischer reimagines a familiar Danish Christmas decoration in coloured porcelain. Traditionally made from paper and hung on the Christmas tree, the cone shape is translated into a simple, sculptural form.

Handmade in Copenhagen, each kræmmerhus is left unglazed and water sanded by hand to create Ditte Fischer’s characteristic silky matte surface. A natural leather loop provides the finishing detail.

Hang them on the Christmas tree, from a branch in a vase, or together in a window. Available in a range of colours, they can be mixed across the collection or displayed individually.
