We believe a home doesn’t need to be perfect - it simply needs to feel like you. Inspired by Scandinavian living, we curate handcrafted pieces made with care, meant to be used, and meant to last. Each one is chosen for more than how it looks; it’s chosen for how it makes you feel - calm, grounded, and at home.
Based in Toronto and rooted in Denmark, we are a small boutique with a deep appreciation for thoughtful design and everyday rituals. Our hope is that these pieces support a slower pace, gentle moments, and a deeper connection to the spaces you live in.
OUR JOURNEY
For Pia Duvier, Scandinavian design has never been a trend, it has always been a way of living. It shows up in small, quiet ways: in the calm rhythm of her Toronto home, in objects chosen not only for beauty, but for how they support everyday life.
Born and raised in Copenhagen, Pia has always been drawn to simplicity, craft, and the quiet functionality of well-made things. While working for a Danish furniture and design company in Tokyo, she saw firsthand how thoughtful design can change the feeling of a space and the way we live inside it. After moving with her family to Toronto, the idea of creating a place devoted to Danish design began to take shape.
She returned to Denmark, visiting studios and workshops, meeting with makers, and choosing pieces that carried both clarity and soul, many of which weren’t easily found outside Scandinavia. What began as a personal search slowly became Danish Design Space: a curated collection of objects made to bring warmth, meaning, and simplicity into modern homes.
“Scandinavian design is about beauty, form, and function coming together,” Pia says. “I’ve always loved pieces that are lovely to look at and made to be lived with. When something is crafted by hand, you can feel the care in it. It brings a quiet presence into a home, and that’s what I hope to share.”
