A contemporary take on a traditional Scandinavian Christmas ornament, the Kræmmerhus in Grey by Ditte Fischer reimagines the familiar paper cone in fine porcelain.

Cast in coloured porcelain clay, the ornament is left unglazed and finished by hand to create Ditte Fischer’s signature silky matte surface. The soft grey gives the simple cone shape a calm, understated expression, while the natural leather loop adds a warm contrast.

Hang it on the Christmas tree, from a winter branch, or in a window. It can also be filled with sweets or small treats, keeping the connection to the traditional Danish kræmmerhus.
