SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Where We Ship
Danish Design Space ships from Toronto, Canada, to destinations across Canada, the United States, Japan, and selected European countries.
Our European destinations currently include Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
If your country is not listed, please contact us. We will be happy to explore shipping options.
Shipping Rates
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout and displayed before you complete your purchase.
Canada: $15 CAD flat rate.
United States: $25 CAD plus 12% of the order value. Applicable U.S. import duties and handling are included.
Europe: Tracked shipping at $35 CAD plus 15% of the order value.
Japan: Tracked shipping at $40 CAD plus 15% of the order value.
Large & Bulk Orders
Our standard shipping rates apply to regular retail orders. For larger quantities or bulk purchases, shipping costs may vary depending on the size, weight, and destination. Please contact us before placing a large order so we can provide a shipping quote.
Processing & Delivery
Orders are generally prepared and shipped within 1 to 3 business days.
We ship from Toronto using Canada Post. Tracking information is provided when your order is dispatched.
Delivery times vary by destination and may be affected by customs processing or local postal services.
International Duties & Taxes
For orders shipped to the United States, applicable import duties and handling charges are included in the shipping fee at checkout.
For orders shipped to Europe and Japan, import duties, VAT, customs fees, and other local taxes are not included in our prices or shipping charges. Any applicable charges are the responsibility of the recipient and may be collected before or upon delivery.
We recommend checking your country's import requirements before ordering.
Gift Wrapping
Every gift deserves thoughtful presentation.
We offer complimentary gift wrapping and are happy to ship directly to your recipient, complete with a gift receipt.
Simply enter your recipient's name and shipping address during checkout, and leave your gift message in the Additional Information field. We will take care of the rest.
Returns & Exchanges
We hope you'll love your purchase. If something isn't quite right, please contact us within 7 days of delivery to arrange a return or exchange.
Items must be unused, undamaged, and returned in their original packaging.
Please note that sale items are final sale.
Canada
Email shop@danishdesignspace.com, and we will provide a prepaid Canada Post return label for eligible returns and exchanges.
United States & International
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using an insured, trackable shipping service, as we cannot issue refunds for items damaged during return transit.
Damaged Items
Every piece is carefully inspected before leaving.
When your parcel arrives, please inspect the outer packaging before signing for delivery. If you notice visible damage, we recommend signing for the parcel while noting the damage with the carrier.
If an item arrives damaged, please contact us within 3 days of delivery, including photos of both the item and its packaging. We will work with you to make things right as quickly as possible.
