A porcelain interpretation of the traditional Danish kræmmerhus, this Kræmmerhus in Terracotta by Ditte Fischer takes the familiar folded paper cone and gives it a simple, sculptural form.

Cast in coloured porcelain clay, the ornament is left unglazed and finished by hand to create Ditte Fischer’s characteristic silky matte surface. The warm terracotta porcelain is paired with a natural leather loop for hanging.

Traditionally used to hold sweets and small treats, the kræmmerhus can be hung from a Christmas tree, winter branch, or in a window, either empty or filled as part of a seasonal display.

Each ornament is individually handmade, with subtle variations that are part of its character.

Handmade in Denmark by Ditte Fischer.
