ORDERING & COMMUNICATION

  • How long does it take for my order to ship? We carefully pack and ship all orders within 1 to 3 business days. As soon as your order leaves our space, we will email you a tracking link so you can follow its journey.

  • Where do you ship from? All orders ship from Toronto, Canada. We currently ship within Canada, to the US, Europe, and Australia, but if you are elsewhere and have your eye on something, feel free to reach out, we may be able to help.

  • Do you ship outside of Canada?
    Our standard checkout is set up for Canadian addresses only. Because international shipping rates vary greatly based on the weight and size of our handcrafted pieces, we quote international shipping on a case-by-case basis.

    If you live outside of Canada and wish to purchase from us, please email us at shop@danishdesignspace.com with:

    • The exact items you want to order

    • Your full shipping address (including postal/zip code and country)

    We will gladly calculate a custom shipping quote for you within 24 hours.

  • Do you ship to the United States?
    Due to complex and changing U.S. import tariffs on consumer goods, we do not offer automated shipping to the USA at checkout. If you are an American buyer interested in a specific piece, please email us for a custom quote. Please note that the buyer is fully responsible for any local customs, duties, or import taxes applied at the border.

  • Do you offer local pickup or in-person shopping? We are an online-only boutique, so we don’t offer pickup or have a physical storefront, but we are always happy to answer questions and help you choose the right piece.

  • Do you have a customer service phone number?

    To maintain a calm, thoughtful workflow and keep our focus on packing your items safely, we handle all customer care exclusively via email. We read every note personally and will get back to you within 24 hours at shop@danishdesignspace.com.

RETURNS & DAMAGES

  • What if something arrives damaged? We take great care in packaging each order, but if something arrives broken or damaged, please email us within 3 days of delivery with a photo, and we will make it right.

  • Can I return or exchange an item? We want you to love your pieces. If something doesn’t feel quite right, please reach out within 7 days of receiving your order. We offer returns or exchanges on most items in original condition. (Note: return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is damaged or incorrect.)

PRODUCT CARE

  • How do I care for my handmade tableware or decor? Each piece is crafted by hand and deserves gentle care. Most of our ceramics are dishwasher and microwave safe, but we recommend hand washing to preserve their unique finishes over time.

  • Where are your products made? We work with skilled artisans in Denmark, each one carefully selected for their craft and commitment to quality. Every piece in our collection is made to last and meant to be kept.

GIFTS & SPECIAL REQUESTS

  • Do you offer gift wrapping? Yes, we offer complimentary gift wrapping using white or black paper, finished with silk ribbon in soft, muted tones. Simple and elegant, it is ready to give.

  • Can I include a personal note? We are also happy to include a handwritten note with your message. Just leave a note at checkout.

RESTOCKING & AVAILABLITY

  • Will you restock sold-out items? Some pieces are part of our permanent collection and may be restocked. Others are limited editions or small-batch finds and may not return once sold out.

  • Can I reserve or pre-order a piece? If there is something you love, feel free to email us. We are happy to let you know if or when it might be available again.
