Terms of Service
This page explains our terms of service. When you use danishdesignspace.ca you are agreeing to these terms.
PAYMENT AND DELIVERY
In our web shop all prices are stated in Canadian Dollars (CAD), and include all taxes and free Canada wide shipping.
For shipments to the United States a flat fee of CAD 10 will be added. For shipments to the United States and International destinations the customer is responsible for paying all applicable duties and taxes.
We stock all items in Canada and orders will usually be shipped out within 1-2 business days after your purchase. Parcels are delivered by Canada Post. In case we have an unforeseen delay related to the shipment we will contact you as soon as possible.
When receiving the parcel it is important you check it to make sure that there are no visible damages. If everything is as expected the carrier will ask you to sign for the receipt. In case the packaging is damaged or have other visible indications of defects, remember to sign for receipt with reservations of potential damages of the products.
If you find that a product is damaged after opening the parcel, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt, and we will arrange for an exchange or return of the item at no cost to you.
If you cancel your order we will refund all payments received from you. We refund the amount without any unnecessary delay latest 14 days from the day you notified us about the cancellation. However we can withhold the refund until we have received the returned products. The refund will be paid back to the credit card (or method of payment) used to pay for the order.
When exchanging or returning a product you are personally liable for a possible reduction of the value of the product caused by unnecessary handling.
You may handle the product in the same way as you would in a physical store, but you are not allowed to start using the product. If you have used the product and we cannot sell the product again, or are unable to sell the product again at full price, you must expect that we deduct the decrease in value when we refund the amount. We will not refund the amount if the product no longer has a commercial value.
In order to secure free return shipping, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will help you set up the shipment with Canada Post. Please note that returns without our authorization will not be reimbursed.
You must return the product in the original packaging, and prior to shipping the product back to us please make sure that the product is securely packed.
For customers in the United States and International the return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend that all return shipments be insured. If items are damaged during return shipping we will not be able to provide a refund.
