Inspired by traditional Scandinavian waffle making, this Glass Snowflake Ornament by Marion Fortat is pressed in a waffle iron, giving the glass its delicate pattern and softly textured surface.

The clear glass catches and reflects the light, while the purple string adds a soft, unexpected note of seasonal colour. Hang it on the Christmas tree, from a winter branch, or in a window where the light can pass through the glass.

Individually handmade, each snowflake has subtle variations that reflect the making process and give every piece its own character.
