TASJA P
Modern Clay, Made for the Everyday
Tasja P - Handmade Ceramics from Copenhagen
Tasja P creates handmade ceramics that balance raw, unglazed clay with soft, restrained glazes. The contrast gives her work a tactile quality - clean and contemporary, but with the warmth and character of something made by hand.
Each piece is created in her Copenhagen studio and designed for everyday use. Simple forms, quiet textures and thoughtful proportions allow the ceramics to settle naturally into daily routines around the kitchen and table.
After working with clay alongside another career, Tasja chose to pursue ceramics full time, apprenticing with ceramicist Eric Landon and later working at Tortus Copenhagen before establishing her own studio in 2016.
I am drawn to the honesty of her work - the visible clay, subtle imperfections and straightforward forms. Her pieces feel modern without being polished or precious, made to be handled, used and enjoyed every day.
