Tasja P

Tasja P creates handmade ceramics in Copenhagen, combining raw, unglazed clay with soft, restrained glazes. The contrast between the two surfaces gives her work its distinctive tactile character while allowing the material itself to remain visible.

Each piece is made by hand and designed for everyday use, with simple forms and carefully considered proportions. The relationship between exposed clay and glaze varies across the collection, bringing subtle differences in surface and finish to otherwise straightforward functional forms.

After working with clay alongside another career, Tasja chose to pursue ceramics full time, apprenticing with ceramicist Eric Landon and later working at Tortus Copenhagen before establishing her own studio in 2016.

I am drawn to the honesty of Tasja’s work: the visible clay, subtle variations, and uncomplicated forms. Her pieces feel contemporary without being overly polished, made to be handled, used, and enjoyed as part of everyday life.
