Lidded Jar

A porcelain storage jar with a simple, compact form.

The Lidded Jar by Ditte Fischer, also known as a bonbonnière, is a small porcelain jar for storing little things around the home. Handmade in Copenhagen from coloured porcelain, its simple rounded form is finished with a glossy glaze inside and water sanded by hand on the outside to create Ditte Fischer’s characteristic silky matte surface.

At 11 cm high, it works well for sweets, jewellery, small keepsakes, or other little items. The fitted lid keeps the contents tucked away while allowing the jar to stand as a simple object on its own.
