Anniversary Cup

A tactile porcelain cup designed to sit comfortably in the hand.

The Anniversary Cup by Ditte Fischer was originally designed for the Danish Arts Foundation to mark its 50th anniversary. Its simple, handleless form is shaped to sit comfortably in the hand and has become a distinctive part of Ditte Fischer’s porcelain collection.

Handmade in Copenhagen from coloured porcelain, the cup is finished with a matte glaze inside and water sanded by hand on the outside to create Ditte Fischer’s characteristic silky matte surface. With a 2 dl capacity, it is well suited to coffee, tea, and other hot drinks.
