MARION FORTAT
Sculptural Glass, Made to Catch the Light
Marion Fortat – Sculptural Glass, Shaped by Hand in Copenhagen
Marion Fortat creates sculptural glass pieces that live somewhere between object and artwork. Each one hand-blown in her Copenhagen workshop, shaped by movement, heat, and intuition.
Her process is as fluid as the material itself. Rather than following a fixed outcome, she allows each piece to emerge through experimentation, open to surprise, grounded in touch, and guided by the transformation of glass from liquid to solid.
Marion’s work blurs the line between functional and sculptural. Every curve and form reveals traces of the making. The rhythm of the hands that shaped it, the dance of light through colour and texture.
These are one-of-a-kind pieces that ask to be seen and used. Objects that carry presence, and invite pause.
