Danish ceramicist Ditte Fischer hand crafts high quality ceramics with care and attention to the smallest details. Minimalist shapes are paired with muted colors for a quintessentially Nordic look. A silky-matte finish, obtained by wet sanding after the final firing, gives her collections a refined lightness and textural quality. The contrast between glazed and unglazed underscores the simple yet strong visual expression that is her design DNA.
Ditte graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1995, and has been designing and producing porcelain ceramic home accessories in her workshop in Copenhagen since.
