ANNIE COMEAU
Quiet, thoughtfully made linens from Québec
Meet the Maker: Annie Comeau of Casannita
In a quiet studio just northwest of Montréal, textile artist Annie Comeau creates soft, thoughtfully made linens for the home. Each piece is sewn with care and intention - meant to be used daily, washed often, and lived with for years.
Her line, Casannita, grew out of a deep respect for the environment and the belief that beautiful objects should also be responsible ones. Working with high-quality linen and cotton, Annie makes tea towels and table linens that feel natural in the hand - durable, timeless, and made to be part of everyday rituals.
The fibres she chooses are gentle in every sense. Designed to last, and fully compostable at the end of their life, they offer a quiet, thoughtful way to bring beauty into daily routines while treading lightly on the planet.
Though not made in Denmark, Annie’s work feels like a natural fit here - guided by the same values of simplicity, sustainability, and honest function. Her linens sit softly alongside our handmade ceramics, adding warmth and intention to the table.
